Full Stack Developer (Backend-Focused)

About the Role
Augmex Technologies is looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of building scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications while also contributing to modern, responsive frontend experiences.

💼 Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design and develop clean, scalable RESTful APIs using Laravel
• Architect efficient MySQL databases, manage relationships, and optimize queries
• Write automated tests using PHPUnit or Pest
• Integrate third-party services (Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid, etc.)
• Improve performance with caching strategies (Redis)

Frontend Development

• Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into responsive UI using React.js/Next.js
• Manage application state using modern tools (Hooks, Context API, Redux, Zustand)
• Collaborate on API structures for seamless frontend integration
• Ensure accessibility (a11y) and SEO best practices

🧠 Required Skills

• PHP 8+, Laravel (Eloquent ORM, Queues, Jobs, Service Container)
• MySQL (Indexing, Optimization, Relationships), Redis
• React.js / Next.js
• TypeScript (a plus)
• Tailwind CSS (preferred), or SASS / Styled Components
• Testing with PHPUnit or Pest
